Tansferrer out during redemption

Hi guys,

will godaddy allow me to transfer my .co domain currently in the redemption period to another cheap registrar like namecheap? i am able to get the auth code by unlocking my domains. so it confirms i can? pleas advise.

If it is in redemption period, I don't think you can transfer the domain. If it is in the renewal grace period, then yes, you can

@OceanKing - The fact that you can still get the info from your account means yes. If these are the ones you were referring to in the CO thread - transfer ASAP! You are likely very close to the last day to transfer.

What was the exact date of expiration? That will determine exactly how long you have.

If they expired 19 July, today is Day 40 after expiration
It is 40 days From and including: Thursday, July 20, 2017 To and including: Monday, August 28, 2017

If they expired 20 July, today is Day 39 after expiration

Either way do NOT dilly dally! Good Luck!

At redemption period central registry has bigger fee, it is not only registrar's case

These were already sold at GD Auction so Day 42 will be the last day @OceanKing can rescue them

Registry Redemption only applies if the domain goes 45 days and was NOT sold off.

Even so, at GoDaddy you can still transfer out a domain that is well into the redemption period. As in most cases, the sooner the better.
