SWF Files on my website

hi does anybody know how i can put SWF. Files i created using swish program on my website i copied the HTML code for it and then inserted it into yahoo sitebuilder but it appears but onli as a grey box nothing happens when i preview it its not showing up can some 1 help?

you need to upload the file first.

I don't know much about yahoo sitebuilder, but the point is that it won't access files on your hard drive, you need to upload them to your server.

Chances are you have a control panel with yahoo? See if there is a section where you can "upload" files. You need to select the swf file and then follow the instructions.

Then to display it on your website you need to do something like this:

<embed src="http://yourwebsite.address/folder/movie.swf"></embed>

I was just like this when I first started. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. I found it so complicated when I first started out, and almost gave up. :lol: once you get the hang of it, it's so simple.
