🔍 SWETHA IS NOT ALONE

And is not even the main player.

Remember:
Satoshi Nakamoto is an alias, and it’s not one person behind it, but a group of individuals.

Swetha is just the chosen face.
Behind her, there is a group of people.

And that’s very easy to see —
Not only from the picture Praveen uploaded on his account (which he later deleted [@Buybrandweb]) back when the industry got very skeptical about Swetha...

But also if we do some simple calculations:

🔢 NUMBERS DON’T ADD UP WITH THE NARRATIVE

Portfolio size:
Swetha “owns” 20,000+ one-word .xyz domains.

In her narrative, she has been hunting and catching xyz domains since around 2018.
She said some were bought at auctions, and some from other domainers.

We all know that these tasks are not 30-minute tasks — they take way more time (dealing with sellers, auctions, negotiations, etc.).

But for this example, let’s say it took her 30 minutes per domain (acquisition, listing, and outbound):
👉 That’s 10,000 hours
👉 Equals 1,250 full working days
👉 That’s about 3 years and 5 months working 8 hours per day, every single day
👉 Or ~5 years if working 5 days a week with breaks

By 2021 or even earlier, Swetha already had 20,000+ domains.

🧠 Let’s be honest —
No one is spending 8 hours a day, every day, just buying domains.

If we recalculate with more realistic time...
It would take her 7 years just to reach that portfolio size.

(Unless... she is not the one doing that)

💰 MONEY FACTOR: A BIG INVESTMENT FOR A NEWBIE

This makes the scenario even more surreal.

She claims she didn’t pay premium registration fees for any domain (which is also suspicious).

So let’s assume she bought from domainers and in auctions:

  • At $100 per name, she would need to spend millions.
  • Renewing 20,000 domains at ~$10/year = $200,000 annually

Which is very rare for a woman from India who just started alone with no previous experience.

Not only is having that cash rare —
But putting it into a new business in an obscure, unpopular TLD is even more rare.

That’s why she needed to show very big sales at the beginning, like:
💸 Bull.xyz for $200K
...and a few other high sales — to make it look profitable.

📉 STR (Sell-Through Rate)

If you calculate Swetha’s STR (even including the fake sales)...
➡️ It’s the lowest STR in the industryless than 0.3%

🧠 FINAL THOUGHT

Saying that Swetha is operating alone is like saying
Andrew Rosener is running Media Options alone.

🚫 It’s impossible.

There are a lot of assumptions here.

I own many thousands of domains, and have never spent that much time.

This might be shocking, but I have often outsourced tedious work that I don't want to do.

I am sure other domain investors have as well.

This also doesn't factor in buying many domains at once, like portfolios.

.XYZ had almost no demand at one point. I doubt Swetha bought all these domains one at a time.

1. Who cares?
2. Your math is way off. Dunno but... Way way off. If you spend that much time you're doing something very wrong.
3. If she has a team... So what? So do I.
4. Again, who cares?

Blimey, 90% of the poster ID's, or there abouts on Namepros don't exist as a legal entity, they're pseudonyms. What the hell does it matter if Swetha exists as a person, a collective or just a representation of somebody or other. It seems it is quite easy to nominate or name yourself whatever you want when it comes to domain buying/holding/selling providing you can fulfil any financial legalities of the transfer and payment.

If people want to be so obsessed why don't they spend their time pursuing the money trail from the sales. Just about everybody pumps their own domains to some extent or other, So what, if one identifier is more successful at it than any other. I'm just lost as to any reason for it to be such a Witch-Hunt. Does it really matter in the realm of everything to do with domains. You've either bought into the ,xyz hype or you haven't.

God forbid that any of the registration services or extension holders should be held to account for their self-interest or promotional hype. Then we could have a real Bun-fight

Actually, the lowest STR is 0.0%. 😃

STR is a combination of quality and price.

I can assure you when you see some random low quality .com sold for $20k+, the STR is as low or lower than that.

The STR goes lower when the price goes higher. That's just how it works.

What the OP points out matters immensely. This xyz thing has scam written all over it.

You can all put the blinders on and believe that “swetha” is really buying and selling all these but those that have been around the block know better.

I personally wouldn’t touch .xyz but because of these supposed sales many unsuspecting folks have jumped off the cliff. Certain doom for them…

@jackdomainer,

We've issued you a warning privately but also want to note publicly:

Please don't create anymore threads about Swetha on NamePros. Your account will be restricted if you create another.

There are healthy and productive discussions that could take place around some of this, but the way in which you're going about it is harassing, in our opinion.

Yesterday Jack discovers how the domain aftermarket works.

Today he is learning about bulk registrations, xyz $1 promos, and the power of compounding small wins.

Soon he will have enough knowledge to sell a domain of his own!
