Just take a look at all the other dictionary domains that sold, yours is a beauty.

The surfing industry is rich, so I am sure you could sell it to an end user for even more... even 7 figures.

If ever a generic dot.com could rival 'google' as a brandable search engine name, I'd think it might be surfer.com... for all of us surfing the internet. Someone wanting to brand it as such might just pay more than someone who wants to use it for product/info/news about the sport surfing. Brings to mind a whole groovy lifestyle, the tropical look of that kind of site would be very attractive, etc. If I had this name, it would be a search engine, hand's down. I'd give G a run for their money with it.

Anyway, wonderful and versatile name, I love it.
reseller = in the 60 - 100K range
end user = somewhere soaring over 150K as a bare minimum, probably closer to 3 - 400K... unless a few people go just crazy over it. It has that possibility. Just 2 kool.

Excellent point, Bannen. I love the search engine idea. The domain is so brandable that, if done properly, such a site could be incredibly successful. In fact, who knows? If the site got big enough, maybe Google would buy you out!

Thanks for the feedback - and yes that plug was quite shameless. Living near the beach in San Diego I'm hoping to develop it with the assistance of some real pro surfers.

Anyway, didn't mean to distract from the original poster's query. I think that surfer.com is an incredible name that has to be worth $100,000-$250,000.
