I've currently got http://www.support-forums.net pointing to my support forums. It's an excellent domain for any company, even better for an internet based one.

I have taken a look at supportforums.com and that is for sale with minimum price of $688 but is probably higher... I know the version I have isn't as good being a .net and a - , but do you think it could be a good domain to try and sell? And what do you think it could be worth?

I've had one crappy free appraisal done and had it valued at around $1500 which does not seem accurate at all, so I would rather hear from people who might know what they are actually talking about!

Thanks,

Steve

Who gave you that "Appraisal", if you don't mind sharing? :o
You might be able to work it to your advantage in the S/E's, etc. in getting it ranked and then pointing to your site, traffic, etc. I would think you should do exactly as you're currently doing, in other words ... as Reg. fee+ (at the wholesale level), IMHO.
Due to the (-) and ".NET", as you mentioned (and probably knew all too well). :)
Best of Luck.
PS. Welcome to Namepros.

Not a bad Domain but the "-" combined with the ".net" does reduce its value.

I bought 2 hyphened .nets as well last week basically to see how they do in the engines, they are somewhat naughty so I won't go into details here :)

I would have to agree with the reg fee for the name itself so I would get it into the search engines and use the traffic as that is where I see potentil profit for you. Good Luck.

Hi, thanks for the help guys. I think it will be left pointing as it is for the moment.

I also posted on a business related forum where the potential buyers might be found and $150 was the most someone would say they would buy it for.
