Suggestions ? Youtube/Facebook

Anyone have any suggestions on clones for Facebook and/or Youtube sites? Not for sure if there is a script/service out there that can do both on the same site. Need something that can let users upload photos and video, as well as talk to one another.

Im pretty sure I have come across some scripts that are very similar to Youtube, even free ones. I have tried to the free ones I found ( I forgot the names now ) but I didn't like them.

I'd say do a Google search.

dont even try to create a social networking site using any clone, the problem with them all is, their full of bugs! and their not hack free!

Well, biggest problem starting a site like this is HOSTING.

If you're confident that you can lay hands on a server which can take on terabytes of data every month without crashing...and can host a lot of videos (like in the case of youtube) - then sure, go right ahead.

...then theres always the age old problem of Copyright violation..you may not be allowed to host music videos and stuff.
