Hey everyone,

I think it'd be handy (assuming the Vbulletin mods lets you do this :p ) if next to the number on TR on posts it had the % positive for the user.

Just a thought ;)

Thanks,
Chris

I like the idea as well, assuming it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to implement.

Not a bad idea. I think you'll be seeing a lot of 100%'s if we add it.

It's not a simple implementation as I had hoped. The user table only stores the trader rating score, and not a breakdown of pos/neg. I need to figure out the best way to pull that info without adding extra queries when displaying each post in a thread.

Surely that data is held somewhere in the database, as in the Trader Rating Section of the profile it does display the Percentage? But I am not sure, I am a Community Admin, Not a Tech Admin.

The percentage itself is not stored anywhere in the database, when you view your profile page it calculates it in real time.

The best option is probably adding another column to our user table, and have it update itself each time the user gets new feedback. Not a big deal.

Thats a bad thing. At the moment, you can see what someones TR is, if you change it to a %, someone could get 1 positive TR (and thus, 100%) and turn out to be a scammer who uses this to their advantage.
(Not that I consider NP full of evil scammers, just waiting for the oppertune moment)

And then there's is the new people who have 0 feedback which would either be 0% or ERR: DIVIDE BY ZERO.

Thats easy to handle.

This would be a nice addition, as scammers once they decide to play they get 4-5 negatives before they're banned. The first negative TRs aren't explicitly expressed by the TR rating beside the user post.

Further, it would be good if a user's last online time is shown near his post. Often one has to visit someone's profile to see when he / she was online.

I disagree. My percentage is at 94%, because 2-3 n00bs ruining it. I dont think it is a good idea, because it could affect many decent sellers.

Rofl, if you deserved the negative TR, it should be displayed.

Unfortunatly, i didnt deserve it. One of the bad TR was from a new member who gave me TR for no reason, the other was banned for scamming people on the forum. Another was a genuine mistake.

Now, consider this, i have changed my habits in such a way that, i will never get a negative TR (unless some noob just gave it for no reason). I have worked hard to get over 50TR, and i hate the fact that people are trying to change things for the worse. It has taken me 25Tr's to get my feedback up from 90.4% to just over 95%..

I am a genuine honest person, caught in a trap.

I personally think it's a good idea. If it were a bad idea, why would all the big marketplaces have it? (Amazon, Ebay etc.)

I'd like to see it implemented :)

Robert Allen, guess it don't matter as your account is closed now =\

Sabre, I didn't think about that, but even more reason to do it :)
