Yes and please take care that you don't hit the submit button hard. We would not like to see submissions thing broken again. Would we? :D

Well the bad news is that it's still going to be a nightmare to get a website listed there. The good news is you can get great search engine rankings without it.

Yep thats right. dmoz is back up . Not to mention us editors have had a little bit of time to clear some of the submission queues while people were not able to submit. This gave alot of editors the ability to catch up. Now that does not mean all editors are caught up, but I know one thing. Being able to review a queue without new sites being constantly added to it does make you feel good for a bit of time. Actually seeing the queue decrease makes you feel like youve accomplished something. But, I guess now it will be back to the old grind of reviewing a queue that gets new submissions as fast if not faster than I can review them. hahaha. But it is still a fun directory to be at and I enjoy what I do. It is one of my fun hobbies in my spare time.

You can read some guidelines over there. And if followed properly they might accept your site.

Being listed in DMOZ definitely helps, I just wish I could speak to the editor of the category I'm trying to get into. It's unbelievable some of the sites that are listed with obvious keyword-cramming in the title, yet they don't seem to want to list a legitimate business of mine - whose site has no ads.

I think they don't like me...maybe because I have submitted less-than-perfect sites in the past. Do they record IP addresses?
