Strange snapnames backorder placed...but not by me !

Looks like I am in an auction for BestMortgageRates.com with a reserve of $23,530 !!

Not sure how that happened as I don't remember ever having that backordered

I can't see anywhere to cancel it either, status says Reserve not met so I should be ok with it, not that there's any chance of that been accepted by my credit card company :lol:

Anyone else had that happen by mistake ?

I had this happen before.. They told me it was me, but it wasn't, although they have removed it from my list... luckily!

If you backordered domain in the past and you didn't remove it from your "Pending Orders" .. then the owner/seller put it for sale on SnapNames you will be automatically in the auction list. Even if reserve not met.

I have'nt contacted them, the auction has 7 days to run which is also a bit strange, my maximum bid is only $59 ....I'd easy pay that for it

7 day auction means it's either a Member submitted domain or maybe a TRAFFIC domain..

You could of had it BO'ed from a year ago or just put a checkmark by it while BO'ing other domains as well.

Either way, you only have a $59 bid in, so no worries
