Strange domain redirection

My friends, I have a strange problem. I have a domain, by example, "example.com". Somebody has "bestexample.com" and redirects it to my domain.

I parked the domain at Bodis, so it shows the ads and For Sale banner.

I'm still thinking about the negative impact of such a redirection. Why would somebody redirect his lower quality domain to mine?

That's could be a scammer pretending to sell your 'example.com' to somebody else, via email such as 'sales@bestexample.com'.

If you recently purchased the domain it could simply be that the seller owned both and forgot about the redirect. I redirect all my undeveloped domains as I don't want to park them.

Sent the owner an email, and he answered that his friend has owned it but apparently some cybersqatter stole it. The most interesting part is that the domain expired and was available for handreg :D
