Tried to raise some NP's for a project and offered some good keyword cctld domains here on the forum for 700 np's each ($10 ?) - zero takers. :|

Put them up elsewhere and have sold five at an average of $150 each , this is within 2 weeks :tri:

You tell me. ;)

This is a QUESTION even I have faced MANY times. I have tried selling really good keyword domains, and nobody wants them .... I have sold many of those domains outside for very good prices.

I reckon one of the factors could be the RESOURCES. People review tools, price guides, so on to determine the PRICES.

I was surprised to find the sales chart on Dnjournal, most of those words dont have high keywords but were sold for 5-6 digit figures. This proves that all those stats, bid tools , so on are just not good.

When I buy domains , I see whether it makes sense, brandable, can be developed, few keywords. If it has them, I go for it.

Try pay them for buying your domains , and see how many sales you'll have here...

I think it might be the volume of sales.

I'll often miss something during the week when I'm busy and then go back more slowly during the weekend and think - "damn, I wish I'd seen that one in time".

And buyers are everywhere... I tried selling a political domain here and had "0" takers at 250$NP.
2 weeks later, it sold on Sedo for $1k

Meanwhile, I had a domain I thought was strong listed at GreatDomains and Sedo and Afternic for almost 2 years, yet not even a nibble. I bring it here, and sell it for $1.5k at my first offering.

There are no universal rules as to where to sell, only that you should try everywhere, and sell to where the highest offer resides.

Namepros members are ruthless when it comes to giving up money!!!! :bingo:
At the same time, we want premium money for our domains!! I guess we are just businessmen (or women) Am I right?

Well I think Namepros.com has a great (if not the best) community...
But, there are not a lot of (big) buyers here imho...
