Hello

Please help
From my godaddy account stolen EG4.COM , 1DN.COM , LT7.COM domains,

godaddy undo department , not help

'''Although we requested that the current registrar reinstate you as the registrant, they have indicated that they will not assist with the return of the domain name.

As the losing registrar, we no longer have control over the domain name. Likewise, any ICANN transfer is the responsibility of the gaining registrar. Therefore, you will need to contact the current registrar if you feel the transfer was handled improperly.

Any dispute over the registration of the domain name will need to be sent to the registrant, current registrar, through an ICANN-approved arbitration provider (http://www.icann.org/en/dndr/udrp/approved-providers.htm) or the local court system.

Please note, upon creating your account, you agreed to the Universal Terms of Service for GoDaddy. The Terms specified that it is your responsibility to protect your account's confidential information. The Terms can also be found at: https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/agreements.asp?ci=8924

Did you lose them in the transit of a transfer?

I think you should contact the new registrar since Godaddy already accepted the transfer solicitation and delivered them so they do not have anything to do there. The process of transfering can lasts up to 10 days so you should look at your dashboard to see what is happening.

Well, someone got hold of your user name and password; at the very least, you need to change your GoDaddy password and username to something else.

You could try reporting this directly to the registrar (ename) and ICANN.

Did the domain names simply disappear from your account? In my experience, I receive emails when I unlock a domain and initiate transfer.

Or is this a sale gone wrong? In other words, did you initiate transfer and then the buyer did a charge back?

This is one drawback of the very fast transfer process, like with Godaddy. You can transfer out domains in 15 minutes.

Unlike with other registrars like NAME, they use the full 5 days to wait it out. So you have 5 days to react, in case you want to dispute the transfer.

You should have been able to accept/ reject the transfers from your Domain Manager Control Panel. Somebody obviously gained access to your account. You should always change your PW every 30 days to prevent this from repeating itself or create a sub account I M M E D I A T E L Y !

WOW..that's scary!!!! But as far as I know you have to put several codes to unlock and transfer domains and they are normally sent to your email address...did you notice some read emails that you actually haven't opened? Double check in your trash too. Maybe the one who stole them has access to your email address too so they could get all the codes they need.
Change password of your email account too.

Record for the above domains reveals a registrant with a strange Chinese name. It takes a very clever, highly specialized computer expert to steal something like that.

I think Name.com take a full 7-10 days to transfer a domain if you don't intervene. But if you send an email to [email protected] they will release the domain immediately, ie <1 day.

Really sorry to hear that man. As others have said, if the registrar you had them with won't help then I would suggest contacting the registrar he transferred them to. If anything, try and at least get them to put a lock on the domains so they can't be moved anywhere else in the meantime..

I've transferred domains out of godaddy before and they didn't disappear right away. In fact, it was just like any other registrar where it took about 5 days to go through completely.. Maybe I'm missing something here?

Sorry to hear that. But even with inter Godaddy transfers things can go wrong and they won't help.
I let #godaddy know that a scammer tricked me and now has my domain.
They are just sending me the same cut and paste email you sent.

You obviously haven't tried in the DCC, Domains>Transfers>PendingTransfersOut, then approve the transfers away. The whole process takes about 1hr before they appear at the new Registrar.

It sounds to me like someone probably has some kind of access to your computer or you logged into your accounts on a computer with some sort of keylogger because in order to do a transfer, it would require the person to not only know the username and password to your godaddy account, but also the login details to the email address in the whois area in order to approve the transfer as well. Unless the whois information was changed prior to transferring. But godaddy usually emails you to let you know information is being changed I think just as a heads up. Always use caution when logging into a public computer and make sure you pick strong hard to guess passwords.

The only best advice anyone can give you right now is to contact the new registrar and find out what they need from you to regain ownership of the domain(s) in question. See if you can file a police report since this is an actual theft from what you tell us. Many businesses are more than willing to cooperate with authorities.
