Hi,
Can I get some feedback on SteamCard.com ?
A Steam Card is basically the same as an XBOX live gamercard, only for VALVe's Steam community.
It can be placed on forums, in signatures etc..

Thanks :)

Emphasize your logo more and utilize the backdrop to bring the action that Valve/Steam is providing and get that across.
The demo cards need more exposure as well, even though they're shown in the Design section, these cards are the main reason for a user to even stick around on your site. Capitalize on that.
The nav bar could be centered and a little more "attention grabbing" than it is right now. Eventually make it a tad bit bigger.

I'm not sure how you reference whether someone has a Steam ID, i tried to plug mine in and got an error returned that i'm not existing! D-:

Overall, the idea is great, the execution doesn't live up to the spectacle that Valve/Steam provides its users though.

Indeed. I agree about the logo part. It's not too visible, in the form "Get a steam card now" the input fields looks messed up (IE7). The right side of the bar where you put some images in vertical mode, I can't see them right as well.

Maybe you should lighten your footer font a bit, and add a favicon.
Congrats, it just needs little work and it's set. Good luck :)

Thanks for those suggestions, I'll fix those, need to do the PNG fix for IE6 aswell. BTW, it does have a favicon already ;)

Nice site. :tu:

As soon as I visited your site, I got the impression that it was a blog. You need to alter the design a bit to dispell this notion and give your site the sense that it is a web 2.0 application. Place more emphasis on the steamcard generator form and less emphasis on the navigation and news updates. I would move the news to a separate page.

Overall, I like the design you are using. It is very modern and web 2.0, and I like the logo also. The navigation looks a tad out-of place, since everything else is so modern and glossy, but it itself is plain with no textures.

It's a great idea for a site.
