Anyone know anything about starting and running a service like afraid.org, dyndns.com or no-ip.com? I'm thinking that its called running a DNS server.
I am thinking about starting one and wondered if anyone knew the process and associated work that goes along with it, required hosting, etc.
I'd prefer to stay on the Linux Operating system. I'd be using PHP for the website and to interface the site with the application and MySQL for database.
