Happy Monday Everyone!

I must have been real low on Coffee a couple of days ago! I gotta tell ya' Fellas, I bought myself some Spider Food!

SpiderFood.Info and Spider-Food.Info domains, that is! :)

Still not sure if I should create a SEO centric portal or sell these off. Can't make up my mind though. Need stronger coffee, I guess...

Thoughts, suggestions?

Any guestimates on wholesale/retail value?

Thanks...

Sell them off if you can.

spider-food.net has a popular SEO portal using the name Spider Food.

Duplicating the concept under the same name could cause an uphill battle for you to gain a unique identity for your site.

Nice catch!!

I'de have reg'd them too if I found them available..

If you have the expertise in this area, or know others who would contribute too content, then move ahead on development..

The "net" is huge.. certainly must be room for another
"Spider Food" content related site..

Goodluck!

Thanks RJ, DaZ884, SY4, Wanda, everyone for your input. Much appreciated.

The idea of actually running an SEO portal does not tickle me badly enough. I am sooooooo thankful for that! I don't have any plans to join "The Hair Club" by the end of this year either!

With all that is going on at Google, etc., SEO has turned into a woodoo art, it's not a science anymore and there are lot of bad apples out there. It's as reputable in some circles as used car dealerships or those ambulance chasers. No offense, my fellow SEOs at this nice fora. I am NOT reflecting on anyone in particular, I am only stating my read on this "industry" that seems to be in such a great chaos. It is just not something that I would like to do. Seems to be a highly gray area, a moving target with deliverables that are almost impossible to define and/or deliver.

I don't like to get into anything that does not give me total control on meeting/exceeding my customers' expectations.

So what I was wondering was whether to sell off these names for what ever they sell for, or setup a site or two, and sell it off as a developed site. I "think" I have gained fairly good insight (school of hard knocks) into SEO, so I am thinking of setting up some real SEO related content using these names, have adsense running there for a month or two, gauge the revenue/traffic and then consider selling it off to someone really interested in SEO stuff.

Doing SEO is not my cup of tea -certainly not for the long haul -that is.

Personally, without getting into any of S/EO business, I'd offer them up for sale at "Quick Sale" pricing ... Reg. fee - $20/each or $32.50 - $37.50+ for the "package", IMHO. Remembering that they're ".INFO's" and with the hope that someone may make a run with them insofar as "development" purposes. I think it would be a long road, otherwise ... and I have seen the term used in my travels. Unsure of any potential ™ issues, but may be wise to research, as well.
Best of Luck, Shri. :)
