Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

https://www.spaceship.com/sellerhub/

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

What about the non com domain views on a daily basis? They don't seem real. Will they ever fix this?

Currently my price changes are not reflected on landers. 2 hours and counting.

edit: fixed, and new changes sync quickly

Apologies...I thought I was in the namepros thread.

Hi!

Thanks once again for the seller hub.
Anyone else with problems last days at some names with landing pages do not appear in https?

This site canโ€™t provide a secure connection

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

At most work fine though.
Also yesterday at visibility settings there was an option to change to new landing pages or remain at current, today disappeared?

I just wrote a comprehensive guide for moving Afternic listings in bulk to Spaceship SellerHub:

https://domdb.com/blog/how-to-move-afternic-domain-listings-to-spaceship-sellerhub

It covers how to format's Afternic's export CSV to match Spaceship's import CSV format, among other things.

Hopefully it helps some other domainers.
Good work!

You can also use csv.domains, mgr.domains, and sudos to assist managing your folios for listing elsewhere. You can see those 3 listings services here

Iโ€™m new to Spaceship and trying to understand Search Views in SellerHub. What exactly does โ€œSearch Viewsโ€ refer to? Are these statistics calculated on a monthly basis, or are they lifetime stats for the listing?

In some domain, I notice that Search Views are high but Visits are low. How can this happen?

All time or yesterday toggle. It includes searches for that term on Namecheap as well. So your name is showing in a list of results over 1000 times so far, but only 2 people clicked through on your actual name.

I have a similar thing going on. Extremely popular SLD but unfortunately (for me) paired with a not so popular ccTLD.

Overall though these stats have only limited value at best. Sometimes peoples least searched for names are the ones that get bought. It only takes one person to buy your domain. Searchers do not necessarily = buyers, although its generally a good sign.

Click the name and you see that Search views = Spaceship search + Namecheap search.

Spaceship search includes only exact match keyword.ext (SLD.TLD) searches, Namecheap includes all keyword (SLD) searches, regardless of the extension (if any).

Richard the NC CEO said on X months ago they were going to update this section so we could see both SLD+TLD and SLD only for both sites (rather than this haphazard way it's shown today). But he never followed through.

@Marina Savina any chance you can circle back to see if this can be added?

Yeah this mixed situation is confusing to many and it in effect makes Spaceship look like a ghost town compared to Namecheap.

My guess is Namecheap is used by end users worldwide... Spaceship is used primarily by domainers

Working with chatgpt tonite.
Area called connected apps. Canva for sure.
I noticed spaceship. This gives chat gpt users the ability to search for domain names using ChatGpt. Otherwise its useless for domain name searches.
Thats quite an accomplishment, your only one on their list.
I wont be using it but if someone does a report back be nice
Do registered at spaceship names show up as alternatives using this search.feature

Interesting, although the timeframes of both experiments are not very long in the world of domains.

It's all about leverage. GoDaddy: brand recognition (trust) + Afternic distribution, Atom: marketing. 5 percent commission is great but it's not leverage. Namecheap reg path is leverage, but you don't need a lander for that.
