Is it just me , when I type my domain names it does not resolve to a parking page but directed to an affiliate page. Like if I type it the third time it will land on a parking page with ads. The if I type it again it would spit out or redirect to another site.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I cannot make mine do that, yet. Have you made sure you do not have any adware on your pc?

well that would explain why my revenue reports only a fraction of what it was just last week wednesday - since then it is horrible !

Hi, No I don't have any adware or viruses on my computer. I type in others sites and its fine , just my domain names that is suspect.

I would advise anyone parked with DS to check their domains. Its seems to be a random thing when it resolves to either the parked page or a referral site. Every 2nd or third unique.

This happend before a while ago, they seem to switch it on and off...

Probably Zero Click where they redirect straight to an advertiser instead of showing PPC. Personally I've emailed all parking companies and have had this turned off on all of my accounts. Not that it doesn't pay you but most of my income over the last 12 years has come from domain sales and not parking income so Zero Click redirection never shows your For Sale link since it bypasses the parked page.

Hi Marly,
If i am not wrong DS split traffic on some domain names to PPC + Zero Click ( Direct Ads ) so that it earns more.
For example half traffic goes to Zero Click and Half gets PPC, exactly how they split, i am not sure, I remember one of the DS representative explaining to me about this last year. There may be more changes to this in recent times.

But from what you have said, it looks that Traffic is splitting as i said and its normal.

Just finally noticed this on one of my sites, Satellite.tv , it was redirecting to a dish network page instead of the typical ppc splash page. I hardly earn anything from ppc anyway, so it doesn't matter much to me. Gave me a heart attack for a minute, had to rush over and check the whois, to make sure I still owned it, lol, until I remembered this old thread from August.
