advice Someone help me understand Sedo.com PLEASE !

Hi , I have a problem with understanding Sedo.com and its rules / criteria . Recently decided to sell a few domains online and Sedo.com was highly recommended . Because i dont really know anything about selling domains , I done as recommended and added my domains on Sedo's portfolio . One of my domains is '' e-athletes. com '' . I love that domain but i need to sell it. Anyways .. I tried to use their promotions to make it quick . Ordered a Top Domain Promotion first which declined by Sedo because my domain doesnt meet their '' criterias '' then ordered a GreatDomainsAuction promotion . Which i paid 9 euros for . They took the 9 euros but my domain didnt meet the '' criterias and declined . You can see the criterias and few examples of the domains that are accepted for both Top Domains and GreatDomainsAuction . Take a look and please tell me what you see .

e-athletes.com ( e-athletes are also known as pro-gamers . Who are players of e- sports games . . U.S. finally now recognizes e-Sports players as professional athletes, and will grant them visas under '' e-athletes '' identifier . JFYI

The domain is short, a real word and is easy to remember It is a generic domain, e.g. like car.com, creditcard.com or books.com

@hchaglar Your ignorance in domaining is exceedingly clear. Do you know how many people log on here and in their first post ask what something is worth? Then defend it when they don't get the answer they want? Happens everyday. Everything said here is true. Regardless of what the domain "means", it's not premium and has a hyphen. Sedo isn't going to waste their time selling a sub $100 domain, if they get lucky. As for the other, the rules clearly say you will not get your money back, even if they don't accept your name. Very, very few people are looking for this word. if you want to prove everyone wrong, build a site, develop it, advertise it, build content and grow. In 10 or 15 years you may have defined what an e-athlete is and you can get a little more for the name.

My question was clear and it wasnt what '' e-athletes '' mean , not '' what do you think about e-sports or e-athletes '' , wasnt '' can i get my money back '' , clearly wasnt '' what you think worth of my domain '' . I asked a question for people who have knowledge about the system to share it with me and make me understand . If you take a look you can see how clearly and nicely DomainLead Finder and Mike Y told me what was the problem with my domain . I asked for knowledge not for opinions of people since this is not a political subject . So I dont care what people think about e-sports , e-athletes , video games , black people , cats , nor war . My question was about Sedo.com and its system . I wanted to know why Sedo accepted some domains which were questionable for me but mine not . Someone told me that 21 K results wasnt enough , another one mentioned the monthly keyword searches of the term , someone mentioned that the other domains which i found questionable were not bad but they were foreign and that is why i couldnt get them . Such comments are helpfull and I thank them . Clear enough ?

What i am saying is , I asked for help from people who have the knowledge about Sedo and domains . Some people helped me understand . I am not defending my domain , I was defending e-sports and e-athletes because people misunderstood my question somehow and they started to post their opinions about e-sports and e-athletes . Your only sentence which answers my questions is '' it's not premium and has a hyphen '' . Rest of your message is just unnecessarily , offensive , insulting .

I am not planning to sell my domain that i have mentioned already . You are right we dont use our fingers and reflexes while we play e-sport games . We dont have teams and coachs , we dont train , we dont need strategies . You are right from billard to snooker , buzkashi and barrel racing , golf , fishing , hunting ( killing birds and rabbits by weapons ) , model aerobatics , robot combat , then sailing and racing , chess , domino , backgammon , sudoku are sports and the players are athletes but we are not . Because if you ride the horse while the horse running that makes you an athlete , to drive the fastest car makes you an athlete too , it is only us who are not athletes because that annoys you . When it is football and a goal keeper doesnt even move during most games but you do consider him an athlete . That you can see in many other games too . Chess athletes probs running during the matches . Try to make a little research and see if an e - athlete or a car racer or chess player or jokey or a goal keeper does more phsical act during a game or tournament . When you fed your ignorance up , you can try another shot of comment.

Our World Cup Finals at Lakers arena . Google it . Enjoy the photos and try not to get too jealous about the prizes . Salaries of the e-athletes may annoy you too . Since U.S giving us visas under the e-athletes identifier and coleges have scholarship programs for e-athletes , why would i care your opinion ?

If you think it has value for end-users, your best chance IMO is to contact these end-users directly by email or phone. If buyers agree, then you can make the transaction with Escrow, outside of any marketplaces. If you still need a marketplace, it can be Flippa (charges only 10% commission).

That is not so easy
First, your domain is not a premium domain. Not yet, maybe he will in the future, who knows.
But, you got a point. Really Sedo`s criteria is hard to understand.

It's not a big mystery - the reason is clear the hyphen.
A 'premium / top / however you call' it is 'not allowed' to have a hyphen in the 'criteria of the most'.

It is surprising, why SEDO does not mention this point / criteria in their 'criteria - list'.
Maybe SEDO does not wrote this because they assume that this is clear for all.

At least an assessment about a Domain Name is a 'premium / top / hyci.' is a personal decision - there are no 'state laws' for it.

But in my opinion a 'premium / top / hyci.' - Domain Name is clearly 'destroyed' through a hyphen.
That's the first reason.
And (often) there are other reasons than.
