Some questions about Google Maps

Ok, i have recently bought AustriaMaps(.)net and i want to develop it . First this website will be usefull for the Euro 2008 FootBall Championship , hosted by Austria too , and Austria is one of my fav places to go lol .

So i need some advices, links to tutorials, on how to use and optimise Google Maps for my site . I never worked with Google Maps and it will take some time to learn lol .
