Very common? I have to contest. A quick google reveals there are next to none on the internet, although it would appear to be an obscure surname...
That would be the route I would take with the name- would be easier to sell the surname as this is the 'family' name and is therefore a worthy investment for anybody who bears it, and can have sub domains for the whole family. Good luck!

You are correct in part.
The word Gladdis can be applied in many ways, Surname would be best as more people do spell their name "Gladys" VS "Gladdis" However the mere fact
that it can be pronounced and is a 7 letter brandable domain that is easy to remember & 1 Word .....Certainly puts this name well over reg fee.

But yours is Gladdis. Double D, and not too pretty IMO.
