Hi friend great question,

For putting the title in the link, go to settings then permalinks. I usually set my post permalink to:

/%postname%

I don't touch the bottom two options, just the first. YOu will need to place a bit of code into your .htaccess file if it is not chmod 666 or 777.

For the meta tags, checkout the ALL-IN-ONE-SEO Pack

I just tried this and it gives me a error .

Which gave you the error? The permalink? Can you post the error word for word?

Did you put the mod rewrite code into the .htaccess? This is a pretty standard thing, IMO, so it should work. Let me know if you need me to help, no charge, just give a rep point and I will be happy:)

to change .htaccess, download the file from your server (or if it's not there, create a new text document) and open it with a plain text editor (like notepad). add whatever you need to add and reupload the file.

to remove the "index of" thing (before it redirects), try adding

Options -indexes

to your .htaccess file. it's also good practice to make your site more secure for directories where you may have forgotten to put an index file.
