wordpress help

im currently setting up my new site http://www.tokyolondon.net using wordpress, but for some reason when i try to create a link to another page or site it goes back to my homepage ... e.g.

Code:
<a href="http://www.tokyolondon.net/?page_id=14">Style Tips</a>

when you visit the site and click the link it takes you to http://www.tokyolondon.net

iv even tried making a link to google just to test and still once you click the link it takes you to http://www.tokyolondon.net

Has anyone got any ideas as this is stressing me out :(

I viewed the source and by the look of it you haven't a clue how to make hyperlinks (though obviously you do, it's not the same in your source as you posted here.)

HTML:
<p><a href"http://www.google.com">Contact Us!</a></p>
<a href"http://google.com/">test test</a>

Is what I see. The correct way to form a hyperlink is below (as I'm sure you know, you just haven't implemented it):

HTML:
<a href="http://google.com">Test</a>
