It looks like it's Dotster's 7 year anniversary this month, and they're running a different promo every week to "celebrate." I just saw this story/press release about it, and you can see the details about the anniversary here on the Dotster site. I've listed the various promotions below. The first one is tomorrow only, and is the best by far:

February 2
$7 new .com, .net, .org, .biz and .us domains. No limit, no catch, nothing else to buy.
Coupon Code: 7domain

February 3 - 9
$.77 .infos. No limit
Coupon Code: 77info

February 10 - 16
Buy one year of shared hosting get the second year for only $7.
Coupon Code: 7hosting

February 17 - 23
Buy any Custom Site web design, and get 1 year of shared hosting and domain registration for only $7.
Coupon Code: 7customsite

February 24 - 28

$.77 .infos or second year of shared hosting for only $7 or $7 hosting and domain with a Custom Site purchase—you choose.
Coupon Codes: 77info, 7hosting, 7customsite

$7 domains there.....$6.95 elsewhere...

FYI: They may charge you an Authorization Fee in the amount of $14-$15 before the coupon is activated. It happened to me.

Where is it $6.95 without an ICANN fee?

From what I've read the authorization thing seems like a problem when paying with PayPal, but it isn't typically an issue when you pay with a credit card. I've read that when you use a Dotster coupon and pay with PayPal it locks up the full amount in your PayPal account for a number of days even though it actually only charges you the discounted amount, but when you're using a credit card the auth amount really doesn't make much of a difference.

Also be warned that when you use coupons with Dotster they tend to send out an initial invoice which shows the full amount as though you didn't use a coupon, but when they actually charge you they capture the correct amount. It's always a little freaky to get that first invoice, but it's rarely a sign of a larger problem in my experience.

Another word to the wise: Keep in mind that if you register a domain with Dotster you can always move them into an account with MyDomain right away. You can move all of the domains at once and the move is instantaneous. The good thing about this is you can take advantage of the free DNS management stuff at MyDomain, and if you forget to transfer the domains before they expire they'll only renew at $8.50 instead of the standard Dotster rate of $14.95.

Ah thanks, I see, but it's $7.99 if you want all the DNS management options. All the DNS management stuff is free with Dotster if you do it this way:
