Yes, thats the power of Microsoft. They were able to build a solid base with their wide reach through hotmail and msn.

They were also able to offer unique services like their web games for people play on a virtual date.

Very interesting... I've seen enough of their ads but didn't realize before this that it was Canadian! Just assumed it was a US company.

MSN has targeted ads on their hotmail service (and I imagine elsewhere). You'll also notice that the dating ads are specific to your gender (mine is advertising meet females, my girlfriend's has been advertising mee males).

Its also targeted for country, and even region in some cases.
