Paypal doesn't seem to protect buyers at all with e-goods... Just had an idea on a possible work around to the Paypal scam.
Would it be alright to actually ship some type of large envelope to the domain buyer with USPS tracking information. The envelope could contain say... some kind of "password" or contract and your email contact. The buyer receives the envelope, sends you this password by email, and you transfer the domain.
What the buyer would actually be buying is the password/contract so that the domain may be transferred to him/her. The buyer is actually purchasing a physical item... You've got tracking information, the confirmation email from the buyer, and a transfer in domain records.
Of course, it would be $4-$5 out of your pocket, but it protects you, could be well worth it for domains where people may still tend to use Paypal.
