hi everyone

I'm a real virgin at this so i hope you can help me

I'm not sure which type of software to start with i'm looking for somthing that in addition to the normal features might give some extra information such as traffic/stats assesment for a certain url .

or maybe a guideline as for what look in the software
i.e features etc


also any good reading material on the subject will be greatly apriciated
