Just recently bought this, Was wondering what your opinions were,

What do you think its worth ?

Just so i know wether to sell or keep/use.

Since it doesn't really mean anything, take whatever idea you had for it and develop. Current value to resellers is zero. Good luck.

I wouldnt really put any attention to that site to be honest with you. It just goes by how many links are found in search engines, the more found the more expensive your site gets...I've just put a few sites i personally saw sell for over 15k on Sedo and they all show up as either $100 or $2000. It can't predict the WANT of a company or human just goes by numbers.

Your post has two different spellings: softorigins and softorigin.
If the domain gets traffic, it may have value. Document your traffic for a month or so. Resale value will then be based on those visitation numbers.

I Have another domain i am regging today, which i want personally, but would like a rough value on it.

its mainly because i tend to get offers, and its good to know wether they are in the right price range or not.

I was hoping it would be worth something, To be honest I was hoping it would be low x,xxx

But if not, not the end of the world, but would have been nice.

Domains are worth whatever you can sell them for. Reseller value and end user value of a domain are two very different things. Resellers value names composed of generic terms with lots of traffic and revenue. In terms of "brandable" domains, resellers will generally search for names with large numbers of very obvious, affluent end users. In short, they want "sure things".

So-- to increase the amount a reseller would pay, document the traffic on your domain. As far as assessing end user value, it depends on the industry (industry worth, number of competitors, market share that the domain captures, brandability, etc.).
