Can somebody provide some reviews of some paid or free Social Software Scripts?

for dating software, you can try to use datingsoftware.biz . This software has video feature too.
for social networking & community, you can try to use phpFOX.com . It's really good but you must pay 99$ to use it.
For other (cheap) alternative, you can use Joomla with community builder extension..

Not sure about the ratings, but atleast you can see what all is there.

Anyone got any comment's about Elgg and Boonex's Free Dolphin script?

I used Boonex Dolphin years ago and had problems with it and support was not that great. It could have changed since then though.

Have you considered using Drupal and installing modules to get what you want? It is harder work in the beginning but may be worth it in the end. If I had to do a social site again, that is the route I would go.
