Yes, I do own social.com. I've had it since 1995. I set it up as a fun site called the Social Cafe where it was Cool Site of the Day back then.

Of course the novelty of a bulletin board has long since passed, but I still have a forum up where people can chat.

Obviously the value is just in the name, not the Web site

The range was anywhere from $x,xxx to $xx,xxx

I must admit that I had expected it would be valued closer to the 7 figure range but of course I'm a little biased.
I'm going to hold onto the name for now, but if an end user
would like to make the high end offer I can be reached via the whois contact for social.com.
