Myself, a hardcore FireFox user, doesn't think Chrome is very appealing..therefore I do not use it...but who knows, I might seem to like it and switch over ...

Did anyone switch from IE to Chrome, or FF to Chrome???

Or are you staying with Firefox or I.E...?

I haven't even downloaded it, and don't plan to anytime soon (especially based on these reviews). I have no need - Firefox 3.x does what I want it to. I have no complaints, it doesn't crash, and its a great browser. Why bother??!!

On a side note, I just learned TODAY the origin of Firefox. The project was started by a 14 year old kid who was contributing to the ongoing Netscape project. Wow.

I found the privacy controls in Chrome inadequate -- when I close my browser, I want to delete all history, cookies, cache, etc. Chrome wants to hold on to some of those items so Google can deliver better-directed advertising. No, thanks. Since Chrome is open source, I could go code my preferences, but that's a big pain when Firefox already does what I want. Also, add-ons like Flashblock continue to make Firefox my preferred browser -- at least for the foreseeable future.

At this moment, Firefox is still my favourite web browser although I have used Chrome a few times before..

I switched over to Chrome on my laptop, but FireFox still remains the main browser on my desktop computer. I absolutely love how fast Chrome is (both startup and page loading), how minimalistic it is, how I can drag tabs between windows, and how I can create "desktop application", but it is still missing some of the add-ons that I need. Also I am a bit worried about it's security...
