Just get a boat and live on it. I know a boat demands work but its cheaper and I can move around. I don't require that much space so I'd be fine with a 26' foot sloop as long as there is headroom.
I started thinking about this as the economy dove.. and seemingly never recovered. That and all the spy stuff and this scandal, that scandal and whatever other scandal is on the horizon. I know every POTUS has a scandal but it feels like things are getting compressed as time goes on (each POTUS has more + each becomes more invasive imho).
Maybe I need something simpler .. for you know, when things aren't going so well I can better manage. That and the quiet .. I love quiet .. I get more work done. But mostly, I love the idea .. well, maybe not so much the idea of a small head (bathroom) or a funky lil shower .. but I'd manage with it. I'd use less... I have too much already that brings more expenses than I need.
Just some random thoughts about becoming a liveaboard while drinking wine that hasn't aged yet and is way too strong. I wonder how much methanol is mixed in with all this ethanol .. kinda strong or perhaps, just not aged? Blah, anyway, anyone here live on a boat? If you are, where are you anchored down? Month to month or a 10 year lease in Manhattan?
