In a predictably frustrating drop catch two days ago I was beaten @ snap on a name I really wanted by BenFranklin. The name sold for $577 and this was very little more than my top bid. I was driving when the auction was closng so could not follow it directly at the end.
My question is this- have I any chance of buying this name for a fair price- i.e is there any chance of benfranklin flipping this to me for like $800-$900? Does anyone know this company?

Good luck on contacting Name Administration.

Far as I know, he doesn't answer emails let alone sell.

From their website:
NAmedia is not in the business of selling domain names. It is not our intention to "hold out for your best offer". Replying to your email and the many we receive like it each day, costs us time that could be better spent growing our media business. We receive many emails with a similar subject and do not have the infrastructure to physically reply to all of them. If you have an inquiry regarding purchasing web-traffic within one of our verticals, or across our network please send a detailed inquiry via our Contact page

Anytime you see this "Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands" Good luck in buying from them. I think you had your best chance in the auction at Snap. You could of kept bidding against them and who knows, they could of bid $10,000 or even more.

Feel free to contact them, as it's worth a shot, but it's likely to get a high $ reply or none at all.

Unfortunately I very much doubt it, as far as I know they don't sell their names at all.....now if it had been bought at snap by Buydomains then you would have had a chance at buying it back but it would'nt have been cheap !

Chances are even though it was very little more than your top bid, benfranklin very rarely stops until he wins. They have way more money than you or I could dream of.

Two things are a given on a Snapnames auction if one is 'seriously' interested in a name, 1) 'be available' up to the last minute, and even the end, to counter any other offers, 2) know your competition, and when 'certain ones' are it, be prepared and willing to pay a lot more than you'd like or want. Unfortunate, but true realities on Snapnames bidding.

He's stopped on more than a few occasions. Yes, I overpaid a bit, but I got the name that I wanted.

i had a back order on a name a client 'forgot' to renew. It's the name of his dog breeding business - not keywords - really of no 'real' use of anyone but him - godaddy missed the drop catch - and it's at snap now. CherryPie is bidding on it - anyone know or had experience with this person?
