Are the Quality of domains going to be able to hold up?

Well - considering the gravy train is leaving town, they needed to find another avenue to make money, and clearly there is money in live domain auctions......I think this was an obvious route for them.

I never understand why "live" one is such a big deal, we are in the internet age and selling virtual product such as domain, right?

I think with the Live Auction, it creates a different Atmosphere which makes buyers spend a little more cash. Also, at the Live Events, it seems the best of the best domains come out for sale!

As long as it gives money, there is space for everyone. And they have resources to put good domains in the auction....
