Snapname changes date of "Order by"?

I'm backordering a name that states: Order by 19 Jul 2008
After I backorder it, I logout and I search for the name again, it becomes : Order by 20 Jul 2008.
Then I go back to my account and remove the backorder. I search for the name again and now it states : Order by 19 Jul 2008.

What's going on? When's the actual deadline? and what time?

I can only assume that they now do this so other people see a backorder has been placed and they think they'll make more money.

I don't spend anywhere near as much money at Snapnames anymore since they started to show the number of bidders.

My bet is that other people don't either and they make far less money because of this than they actually used too....they're being too greedy IMO

Interesting post, and other folks do feel the same way. I asked this question recently about visible pre-bids in another NP thread. No-one seems to like the visibly shown pre-bids and it certainly hasn't resulted in extra business for Snapnames, quite the opposite...
