.us Six-Figure .US sale? Hold on to your hat!

Some very big news may be brewing for the America's extension, .us. A reliable source tells us that a six-figure transaction is underway with a $20,000 deposit having already been paid. The balance due for the four-letter keyword is to be paid over the next few weeks. We have not yet been able to reach the seller to confirm the details and will not release the domain name until we learn more (including whether or not the transaction will be subject to a non-disclosure agreement). If a deal is completed and the details are released publicly, it will be the first ever reported at that level for the .us extension.
