Hello Name Pro's...

I own both of these domain's and want to know if they have any value in development as I dont believe they could fetch a good price in auction since the market is down a bit ( or which one to sell and which one to save for developing or if there's a way to sell them together)... I definitely want to develop one of my generic domain's (the other one under consideration is SoftBoil.com ) and I'm very new to domaining so it would be very helpful if u guys could shed some light on whether these domains do hold some value together... Thanks in advance :)

.US domains.US domains
Since you asked, here's my honest opinion ...

No, not really much value here. OK, the new Galaxy Note 7 has an S Pen stylus, but does that mean StylusPhones.com is a good domain? No, not really. As far as the stylus meaning goes, it doesn't help as it is a niche tech feature.

Maybe it could mean "Style Us Phones" ... maybe, but I'm stretching things here ...

If you wanted to create a phone site, use a strongly brandable name and create great video reviews ... that's what all the leading sites are doing.

It's not easy developing sites but I would say just go for it and give it a try as you will learn by doing. However, it is pretty competitive and affiliate marketing for shopping stuff is pretty difficult now too. So, consider other revenue generation models.

Good luck!

'..or which one to sell and which one to save for developing or if there's a way to sell them together'

If you have the luxury of owning both singular AND plural, for god's sake keep both. If you have the opportunity to sell both together, take that opportunity.

'which one to sell and which one to save for developing'

This question made me slam my open palm down on the desk. What possible logic is behind this idea. Sell the plural so a potential competitor can just screw with your SEO for shits and Giggles? Always keep both and make one a pointer to the other. All developers should be thinking about type in traffic.

with the number of stylus devices and smartphones coming out everyday is on the rise and since there's always demand for good stylus tech from artists, designers and power user's , my initial idea is a tech news and smartphone review site for all stylus tech products "and" smartphones... since the name says stylusphone.com I'm not gonna go for simply reviewing stylusphones as I understand that would be too dumb. There are simply just too many stylus tech devices and not many tech review sites cover them and reviewing all smartphones along with it is the obvious way to make use of the site... note 7 is atleast one of the top 2 smartphones dis year (so far every year infact) and again its a trendsetter making every other smartphone maker (including Lg recently) to adopt the idea and ders definitely a chance in the coming year or two for apple to wake with a jolt and think about making a stylusphone (dey already have a stylus tab) But finally it all comes down to the content and that is where I'm confident since I'm in the verge of finalizing my content team which will focus on my other sites as well (such super skilled super passionate youngsters dey're my real hope)... so coming back to my question will a name like stylusphone.com would sound logically appealing for this type of content or if I should not be worrying about it... hope u guys could clarify...

OK well if you want my honest opinion here it is ...

The domain would be quite a poor name for a site, because "stylus phones" is quite a limiting term, and does not really cover other tech products with a stylus.

That said, if you are going to be creating good content, it does not matter that the domain isn't ideal, because the content will get you traffic. So in that respect, it's good enough to start your site.

If you were going to be taking things really seriously, I would say think of a better domain that is more brandable.

In terms of making a sale on the domain alone, I would say you would find that very difficult.

Good luck!
