Singers name domain

A good friend of my sister is the lead singer for a recently signed and becoming very well known rock band. They have videos on mtv and touring with other even bigger rock bands. Long story short, when I found out about him through my sister I did a search for his domain and noticed it was expiring so I back ordered it and now have it.

What can I and cant I do with this domain? I'd like to make a fan page.

Honestly the right thing to do would be to see if they want it & give it to them. You honestly have no business owning it. If you put up a fan page without ads or ways to make revenue, that would be okay. However if you profit off of it, I think that would be wrong. Ask them before anything. Maybe even offer to maintain it for them or such just so you'd both know it won't accidentally expire.

Well I actually spoke to him a few times about doing some photography for them so he's cool and all I'm not worried about that. I was thinking about maintaining it as a fan page and selling apparell and posters and such and yes, I would want a small % of the sales for the work involved. I'll have to give him a call and see what he wants to do. I honestly didnt think I would get the domain especially through godaddy since I heard they now send backordered domains to auction but they didnt this time.
