Sibername vs GoDaddy

Which registrar is more preferred for you: sibername.com or godaddy.com?

I do not see huge difference, and I would like to ask more experienced people, surely If they are to help me somehow...

if you're talking about hosting, then i would prefer an actual web host, not a registrar/host. but if you have to choose between the two, i'd go with sibername.

Godaddy is a reputed domain registrar. Sibername.com representative is a very active member in hosting forums. They are Canadian domain name registration company. Both of them do hosting also.

Godaddy more known here and over there. But that doesn't mean they are the best or worse. You need to have deeper look on both to make sure which one is better.

Personally I have no first hand experience with both registrars and can't recommend you to choose the one from both. But I think that you will not regret having looked at eurodns.com. These company will offer what you really need to register and the price will be competitive. Good luck.

The plus of sibername.com is constant development and improvements. In particluar they recently released the information of .tel domains Landrush period.

At least for me .tel became more understandable after reading it.

As you might already guessed, I recommend sibername.

I registered my first ever (.ca) domain name with sibername. It's great to see they are still active and growing strong. Call me confused, but hasn't Sibernames been around longer than GD? I could be wrong.

I had no experience with these registrars. But if I were you, I would deal with eurodns.com. I have got to know that it offers many useful discounts for domain registration.

I am not familiar with Sibername at all, very very familiar with Godaddy. If they are comparable how come I never heard of them?

I have heard many complaints on the godaddy, but never met anything about sibername.com.

Look up the feedbacks I found on ratepoint on sibername.com. People are just happy with their hosting.

as for domain names this company has very good popularity as well.

I have about 30 names registered with GoDaddy and I have been super happy with them. I call, they answer. I found a super discount code on the net that works every time and my domains each came with free privacy and were very inexpensive. I used to use another domain name manager (not sibername) and they were very hard to get on the phone.

Godadddy is great for domains horriable for webhosting. There control panel sucks.

I would vote sibername.com as this is my choise also. The canadian company having accreditation not only from icann, they are really great trusted registrar.

And according to these feedbacks, I think they are also a good host.

Thanks for the given information!

After analizing some your and outer feedbacks, reading reviews and some PMs people sent to me, I stopped the choise at sibername.com... However I think godaddy will remain among potential registrars for me.
