Hi,

Can anyone tell me what are soom of the better sites that offer shopping carts for use in an online retail site. I am particularly interested in a UK based site for ease of support.

I am new to all of this and woould appreciate any tips or advice on how to go about setting up an online store.

Check out osCommerce, its open source and it is truly a great program with a great community. There are also many contributions that you can install. It uses PHP and MySQL.
