I thought it would be useful to set up a thread for everyone who has received their confirmation email from Moniker today, so that we keep the rest of the forum free of this type of posts - not that there is anything wrong with sharing your success, it's just much more useful if it's done in a place where people actually expect to see this type of information, IMHO.

Let's see who made it to the longlist, and just how good their flagship auctionable domains are!

That's the kind of post I was hoping for - focusing on one's best domains rather than a complete list (which would be fine too, but perhaps sorted to make it useful - say in decreasing order of value as you perceive it)?

Congrats Think, very glad to see you own Europe (I mean glad to see that it's in good hands)!

How much are you asking for it in the way of a reserve price?

I notice it says 1-5k in the list, does that mean you are happy with a starting price of 1/effectively no reserve?

I mean it's a good sized continent, warts and all...

If it goes to live auction I told them to start it at $1. If it goes to the silent auction I requested a reserve for it.

I will update when I know more...

Thank you for the input.

That's a really good idea - at least judging from the experience of others, shared elsewhere in this forum.

Best of luck!

I got the 'congrats' e-mail, but don't see any of my domains on the list.

Is there an easy way in excel to bulk compare my list of hundreds to their list of thousands and find any matches?

They didn't pick any of my superstar names (even with very low reserves)...hmmm.

That's something I've always wanted to know about Excel, but was too afraid to ask :)

Years ago I used to consult the website of a top Excel guru called John Walkenbach - if you have the time just Google it, chances are if there is an easy way to do it it will be there.

Dear Moniker Client:

An e-mail sent to you stating that your domains were accepted for the next Moniker Live Domain Auction was inadvertently sent to the wrong list.

Please disregard this e-mail. We regret the error and apologize for any confusion this has caused.

Question: I understand that there are several domain "collections" that made the list (containing 10 or more quality names), but I cannot find these small portfolios. Anyone seen these yet?

I have a lot more than 10 accepted, but haven't figured out how to see all of mine, let alone others' portfolios :)

Go here: https://marketplacepro.moniker.com:443/auction/index.html

And click on "master domain list" right below the big heading at the top.

That's the link I was referring to, thank you.

I meant there doesn't seem to be a way in Moniker's interface to distinguish between one's domains that were accepted and those that weren't. I have lots in both groups and cannot see an obvious difference in my portfolio. I'm sure they'll refine the system before the summer auctions.
