In fact if I see .top regs every single day 99% are regged in China, and 99% of them are very crappy.
i.e. yesterday .top has 15k regs in a day, but most of them are domain like these:

m9n9.top
mmi8.top
Ok i'm not chinese and maybe these kind of domains have a sense in chinese culture, but 99% of reg per day are in the same pattern listed above.
Real regs? Not real? I don't know...

Yeah exactly, either Chinese gamblers or the registry pumping the numbers. It was the same in .xyz a while ago. Have no idea if the aftermarket ename sales are real or not. Try to list your domains on west.cn or ename and find out because the sales(?) are concentrated there.
