I know there are fair few people on here investing in 5 letter brandable .com domains, including myself. :hehe:

Really Good Short Brandable domains are a rarity. IMHO these domains will have a higher profit margin for resellers, than 4L.coms that make no sense other than for use as an acronym for a company. Some may disagree. :hehe:

The only problem here is of course finding the end user for such domains. I will be shortly releasing a new site that focuses on selling brandable 5 Letter domains (with a subscriber list including many investors), that any one may list their domains on for free, so stay tuned i'll post about it later when its up.

For now though, enough free advertising :hehe:-, showcase your domains:

Here are some, to kick start this thread:

1. Kazom.com

2. Yemor.com

3. Mazry.com

4. Kolpy.com

5. Zabow.com

6. Carts.co.nz

and just google Yuccie...

...Know your Market.

Thank you. New vocabulary. Much appreciated. Needed that term.

Don't you think with the mass explosion of "it's all about me" thinking, everyone in the world now trying to brand their own personal image in many ways and with social media outlets giving folks that opportunity on mass scales...

Don't you think many of folks in these groups and many like will be setting the trends on more uncommon two and three word sayings, expressions, etc... and there will be value in those types as well? I don't think there will ever be huge payouts, but just simple ROI versus what other capital markets can do on quick flips on these types of domains over the next couple of years as well. Especially as more and more generations are becoming massively tech savvy and easier to do just that with self education available today.

Any thoughts? I don't want to derail the thread as much as capitalize on the opportunity about what you just pointed out, feel it is important, and haven't seen any conversation on this very topic, if you don't mind me taking advantage of the moment? Because I do actually think about that very same thing that you pointed out, except not as focused on "that" particular group as much as just thinking about it at more of a macro level in general.

I am fairly ignorant on what qualifies a domain as brandable however, I was under the assumption pronounceable was one qualification. Was I mislead or misinformed?

No

OakCo.com I collect wood related domains and thought it would work for a business that manufactures furniture, flooring etc.

I LOVE special type cvccv's :yell: :hearts:

there are still some special type CVCCV's available, just 5.19% of them left ;)
I mean names like Pecce, Nommo etc. 2nd+5th char and 3rd+4th char similar.

A lot of enduser-sold CVCCV domains have at least a similar 3rd and 4th character! check namebio ;)

I have put together a list with available special CVCCV's, pm me if you want the list (free ofc.)

some names on the available list that I really like:
Nohho.com (took this one)
Tohho.com
Xirri.com
Wiwwi.com (took this one too)
Favva.com
Yilli.com

quite some other nice domains left..

I've been picking up a few here and there. What do you think of Edgor?

*

I like it!

A combination of "Edward" and "Igor."

Or just an unusual first name.

I read an article years ago about techie parents selecting unusual or variant names for their children so that they can secure the first-name domain for them.

Nice catch!
