I'm not quite sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I wanted to start interacting in the community to learn more about domaining.

I just picked up recently a good amount of dot COM domains that are all in the bitcoin niche. I felt like it was a pretty huge niche and would have a showcase thread, but I searched and didn't see one.

If I understand correctly, you can only post your domains if it's in the specific niche showcase, so I took the initiative to begin one. If this is against the rules I apologize!

But post your bitcoin domains here! Mine will be following in the next post :tu:

which is better value? are there any specific rules when registering such domains for investment? what's the trend headed to?

Keyword + Coin.com?
Coin+Keyword.com?

or does it matter?

I'm hoping I registered the right ones. I will tell you that the ones I registered. some of them the reverse weren't taken. does that mean they suck? lol. Curious to know that's all. I'm about to register the reverse right now. Thank God I didn't post them here yet. it would be like shooting oneself in the foot here on NP.

Your input is kindly appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on grammatical context and what the domain is going to be used for.

For example, somebody (or business) naming a new cryptocurrency would likely prefer to name it "You Coin" , as opposed to "Coin You".

Alternatively, somebody (or business) creating an online casino for cryptocurrencies would likely rather prefer the name "Coin Casino", as opposed to "Casino Coin".

It basically comes down to common sense and what sounds grammatically correct.

Hope this helps.

Actually sorry now I'm even more confused but maybe that just because I'm slow. Lol jk I sorta get it thanks.

I think one of mine is good though because someone from network solutions registered the .net version. Kinda kicking myself in the head for not doing a " case pack" on

CoinRoyale.com and MonteCarloBitcoin.com and get the .net and .org.

But didn't think of it. But who really does this anyway these days

Anyone?

Total newbie mistake! Someone actually is now squatting on the .net's. kinda annoying probably someone in here! Lol

I liked CoinRoyale.com as a playon words for the 007 movie Casino Royale. Plus Monte Carlo is basically the casino of which Casino Royale is loosely based off of.so definitely got that.

I guess it's good since someone decided to get the .net. For what purpose? Who knows?

But if easyCoin.com wants $150k then I definitely will want the same or more! Why not?

The 007 franchise is worth billions and a play on words on something the whole world recognizes is a great eye catching gimmick. It's like free advertising really.

I think it's time to sell really or perhaps after the proposed bitcoin halving which from the countdown I've seen is happening soon?

Either way future seems great for bitcoin. Plus got this email from bitstamp. Something about bitcoin being accepted in the European Union as an acceptable for deposits in banks. Bitstamp got some sort of "greenlight" over in Luxembourg which is supposedly great news for bitcoin. Anyone care to explain all this and or expand on this? That would be appreciated in this thread I bet. Thanks.

Oh and that domain I mentioned that I better get the reverse before putting it on here?

Coinmidas.com and MidasCoin.com
A play on words for Gold. Midas the king who's touch turns anything to gold.

I learned my lesson with coinroyale.com didn't also register royalecoin.com which is now priced at $3250. Damn!

It was registered 2 months after me reg coinroyale.com

Same with my vegasbtc.com someone reg btcvegas.com.

Annoying.

So which is better? MidasCoin.com or CoinMidas.com?

Please remember, this is a common mistake new domainers make, its priced by someone at that price, doesn't mean it worth that.

LuckyMonkey888.com is also listed for sale at $825K, I don't think it will sell for that...

Surprised this thread isnt blowing up! Blockchain tech has been mentioned in the news quite a bit recently because of conferences, startups, etc.
Was considering making a blockchain showcase thread but I only own two related names so far.

Agreed.

Still puzzled how the Virtual Reality Domains thread has almost 1,000 pages, but bitcoin/blockchain hasn't even broken 50 yet.

Thankfully I started buying blockchain domains over a year ago, was speculative at the time though, now receiving inquiries almost daily
