showcase Showcase Your: Bitcoin Domains

I'm not quite sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I wanted to start interacting in the community to learn more about domaining.

I just picked up recently a good amount of dot COM domains that are all in the bitcoin niche. I felt like it was a pretty huge niche and would have a showcase thread, but I searched and didn't see one.

If I understand correctly, you can only post your domains if it's in the specific niche showcase, so I took the initiative to begin one. If this is against the rules I apologize!

^^ well...try this: try to sell b-coin.com to your customer and tell his that the non-hyphenated version sold for whatever amount...and see IF it works...it wont! and there's a reason why and if you believe that the "-" doesnt make much difference...then you're naive or/and unwilling to admit the truth. lets keep endusers aside, try to sell a hyphenated name to an experienced domainer and see what he says...i can go on and on and on...but if u are not getting it...then u gotta try to sell the name and use that "related-sales"- pitch and accept a cold rejection!

So if you have the opportunity to buy Car-Insurance dot com then you wouldn't take it. Don't be ridiculous. Just because Hyphenated names are less desirable and CERTAINLY decrease value, it doesn't mean they are worthless.

they are not worthless...but they are worthless to most big companies...if u want to flip a name and make a couple hundred dollars (and even that is a long shot) ...then yes it's worth waiting...
i sold many names to endusers...stil do. if u knew me and the owner of this forum and many people do, you'd know that i am pretty good at it...and yes i am still positive that a hyphenated domain is extremely hard to move!

Business-Owner has no relevance, its describing what someone could be, no company or site would want that name unless it's teaching you how to be a business owner or something. I'll buy it off you for 10 bucks though... might get lucky and sell it for low xxx.

this very name used to be owned by a multi-million dollar company in Texas...for a reason. it is relevant: it can cater to niches from incorporation, business taxation startup concepts, business banking, business funding, outsourcing, incubators to business credit building etc etc etc...you see how conveniently you missed the whole point as to how this domain could be used? THIS simple thing proves you have a long way to go...Sorry but if you are arguing here just to prove your point...your last answer just killed it!

i was just answering to your comment that "business owner" as keyword has little room for development.

Josh...I was just like you when I started back in 2005ish...I would believe in all what I read...all those "related-sales" pitch..the hypen, the the etc..and spent good money to lose and learn. This is coming from the person that sells domains EVERYDAY...I got nothing against u man...and I firmly believe you wont be saying the same thing as you go deeper into it...and Health-Insurace IS a decent domain...but that Bit-coin is less desirable

visit NameBio, try an advanced search for .com names with You prefix: you will know WHY i am saying all this because i know you are still skeptical and will only believe if "related sales" have occurred.
