I'm not quite sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I wanted to start interacting in the community to learn more about domaining.

I just picked up recently a good amount of dot COM domains that are all in the bitcoin niche. I felt like it was a pretty huge niche and would have a showcase thread, but I searched and didn't see one.

If I understand correctly, you can only post your domains if it's in the specific niche showcase, so I took the initiative to begin one. If this is against the rules I apologize!

But post your bitcoin domains here! Mine will be following in the next post :tu:

Are these sales or what?

They are, if I put a price next to it, they are recent sales

I was wondering who would pick this up. I was going back and forth on this name and decided not to go for it. Nice name though!

I guess you should never miss out bidding on names like these. It is a mid-high five figure name. :)

KeywordOnline.com
names sell just as good as Keyword.com domains since "Online" suffix doesn't alter the meaning or sense of your keyword. ~SinglesOnline.com sold for $125,000

Don't think it's even a 5 figure name to be honest. Just my opinion. Nice name though.

Josh, it's not our personal opinion (yours or mine) that matters at all in a domain valuation. :)
Past sales statistics are always relied as first hand proof for the valuations.
I have no issues with your opinion though, it's your personal opinion.
~Cheers

If this needs to be moved to the appraisal section I apologize, but...

Where would you guys appraise bitcoinebook // dotcom (Bitcoin eBook) for?

YouBitcoin remains the best domain showcased here so far...

I'll respectfully disagree with that. Saw 1 or 2 much better

please share those names, Joshua! (except for Coin.org which is not really a bitcoin domain!)

Ok just from the ones I remember.

B-Coin.com... ( BCoin.com sold for almost 9K)

BitCoinsOnline.com (bitcoinonline.com just sold for 1k)

Sorry but youbitcoin has no value in my opinion and you can even hand reg youbitcoins right now...

both the names u mentioned are unfortunately worthless...just because a domain sold for a decent sum doesnt mean u can insert a hypen somewhere and that new domain would be equally good.
been in the biz for almost 10 yrs...if u dont understand why youbitcoins is available and youbitcoin is not, you have a lot to learn.

also, for bitcoinsonline.com...it is not a bad name but nowhere near the one without s. again...there's a reason why the names that are being purchased by end-users are usually in singular form...like i said...it's more delicate than it looks!

Alis, don't mind but I don't like your patronizing answer to Josh.
Now you say you been in the business long enough, then you should know there is a good market for hyphenated domains as well and that's in Europe. B-Coin is not just putting a hyphen anywhere, it's hyphenated at the correct place.
What difference do you see between YouBitcoin/YouBitcoins, with all your wisdom? I really can't see much and am willing to learn. :)

Respect for doing this for 10 years. BitCoinsOnline has more value than YouBitCoin with out a doubt in my mind. I'm pretty sure BitCoinsOnline (de) would be interested in purchasing it.

YouBitCoin on the other hand is not registered in any other extension and for a good reason. It would take time to market YouBitCoin as a brand I think, it's not a desirable name for a bitcoin website or company.

As for B-Coin, I may agree that the hyphen ruins the value, but it could still be an appealing name to a german bitcoin company.

I may be wrong, and most of the time I will agree with you more experienced domainers, but not this time.
