Every situation is different but when it comes to making the leap full time you have to be honest with yourself and look at the numbers. There are also other options like outsourcing other people to take of some of your domain tasks and still have an income on the side with a job that can help you invest into your business.

As you mentioned in some countries having a job may not even be worth the time and that time you can invest into your domain business will be more profitable.
