Should I use more than one drop service

There is a domain expiring next month that I want. i Signed up at snap names to catch the name and was wondering if it would be a good idea to sighn up at other name catching services also just in case they dont get the name?

Also what services should I use?

Who is the name currently registered with ? this makes all the difference to which drop company will get it.

I was wondering about this myself. I have a name that I want that is expiring jun 7th. It is with wild west domains (i believe owned by godaddy). I did a back order at godaddy and that is it.

Would it help if i did a bo at any of the others (snap, pool, etc.)??? Some one mentioned to me that since wild west is affiliated with godaddy, they will get the name and it would then go into auction and so long as I had the highest bid, I would win the name and only pay the back order price.

Don't know if all that is accurate or not. Don't know if I should backorder at other services (not sure if it helps or actually hurts)my chances of getting the name.

Any feed back from an experienced domainer would be very much appreciated.

Sign up with all the drop catch services, Snap, Pool, ClubDrop. Most of them are free unless they catch the domain so if you sign up with them three services just means you have three times the chance of catching the domain.
