Should I use domain.co.uk

I want to get good ranking at uk.
Should I use domain.co.uk or dot com.
I am thinking abount good ranking and branding.

Many prefer .CO.UK for UK branding. You can always create the .COM for the American market, however if it is primarily UK I would stick with .CO.UK.

I always make sure to get the .CO.UK and the .COM for all of my names.
