Domain Extractor Software?

I'm looking for sofware that can extract urls like the following...

http www domain.com
http www bla.domain.com
http www bla.domain.co.uk
http www bla.domain.any.tld...
(i removed some slashes and dots cause i can't post urls)

...to their root domain. so that only domain.com, domain.co.uk etc will be extracted (no subdomains).

I'm looking for something that can handle Large lists.
I'm using a web based script now but when i feed it 50.000+ urls it becomes very slow and sometimes hangs.

Anyone know of something good that does this?

I think any free script will be slow with that many URLs. That's a lot of URLs. I use the online script, DNCleaner.com, but my max number of URLs is only something like 300.

Yeah, that's why i was hoping to find a desktop app that can do this. But thanks for the link, will check it out.

Desktop app is difficult to get. make some script or try online scripts which are available.

^ Working great if you have less than 10,000 URLs, more than that and it would freeze the whole browser.

Tested on Opera, latest version.

how about increasing the memory, it might help
But if it is on desktop, maybe it also work
