You should never just settle on a first offer if thats what it is. Always test the buyer. Don't get too greedy or you will lose them but always ask for more and be willing to settle as a last resort.

amatør - means amateur in danish
mobilní - means mobile in czech
how much revenue do you get /month of these?

Sell them! IDN domain names don't seem to have much value attached to them.

They may have some worth in the future but I wouldn't stay hold of them incase they dont.

If they came to you about them then they are obviously serious, so push up the price, say $225 for both of them or something.

With that money you can some nice 3 letter .infos or other domains that are coming up in price right now!

Not very hard decision if you ask me. Negotiation is all a part of the business and probably 90% of it at that. If you don't know how to negotiate you might want to consider a new business. If they aren't in the mood to negotiate they are one of two things. A reseller looking for a deal or a novice with no idea of value.

yes i have pushed for $275 dollars and awaitng a resopnse. Lol yes i know how to negoiate and it is a fine line between greed and being realistic as we all know from experience

Just out of interest i have a isdn which is a .com with a overture of 12,000 with the ext but i cant park this one at sedo as it is in japanese , Anyone have any ideas on that one also please?

it is bellemaison but in japanese chracters , I have had it authenticated on here by the mods etc, I will try and find the thread.

Ummm it could be best to wait and see, I am not sure if isdns will take off, Do we think there is a possibilty,

I know some people have made good money with isdns mainly in germany

As soon as IE7 comes out, those domains will be HUGE!!! KEEP THEM!

Trust me and you will be very happy with your return in investment in a year or two.. When IE7 comes out it will support all the IDN domains so therefore there will be a huge boost in traffic for ALL IDN domains...!

Hold out and wait unless he offers anything over $1,000.

But IMHO Jarrod is being overoptimistic. Alternate browsers have about 10% of the market share and most are already IDN-enabled. Shouldn't we see more IDN traffic ?

There will be loads of hits for IDN names? Purhaps you could teach me how to type amatør.com without opening Microsoft word and taking hours searching through the list of symbols.

And as for the danes, there are only just over 3 million Danish internet users.

Anyway, as NameMogul.com said you should never settle for the 1st offer. Try to raise the bar and how much the buyer is willing to spend.

I have changed my mind actually... about mobilní... keep that one. You can type that í on any standard keyboard, therefore more hits.

Sell 'amateur'.com though, I wouldnt say the amount of hits you might get from that is going to be worth more than $100

Personally I would probably keep them and see what develops, it really depends on how much you need the money ... I know you have made one good sale today
